Contents of Rose VoxBox
I received the 2013 Rose Vox Box from Influenster with an exciting group of products to try out and enjoy. I was really happy to find out that I was getting a chance to this group of items. This box was a nice variety of products. I get to test out these products thanks to Influenster.

Front of card
I was so excited when I first opened my box to find all of these awesome products to try out. Like my previous vox boxes; there was a card to describe all of the items in the box. This card includes descriptions of the items that I was going to have a chance to try out.

Back of  card with all descriptions
The items I received in my box were Rimmel London Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara, Dr. Scholl's For Her Cozy Cushions, belVita crunch Breakfast Biscuits, Kiss Gradation Polishes, and Lindt LINDOR Milk Chocolate Truffles.  Some lucky Influensters also get to try out Vitabath Hydrating Lotion. They are all great products and are completely unique to each other.

Each of these items will have their own posts about my opinions and thoughts about the products as I received these products complimentary for testing purposes from Influenster. Each item deserves its own post focusing on the individual product.

CURÉL® Intensive Healing Cream

Thanks to BzzAgent, the newest product that I have been able to try is Curel Intensive Healing Cream (just a fancy way to say lotion).  This Curel product does not have any fragrance or scent which for anyone with sensitive skin or other possible allergies its a great feature to have. I was really surprised by the lack of any fragrance as I thought that it would smell like lotion with it being described as fragrance-free.

Curel Intensive Healing Cream is very thick when you put it on. I am thrilled that it does not feel greasy or that its just sitting on my skin and not being absorbed. I was unsure of how well this would absorb at first and a little bit goes a long way. I only applied this once a day as it really did help my legs and feet feel softer. It will be a test when the weather is really dry and cold how well it will help my skin keep moisturized. I hate having dry, itchy skin and winter is the worst time of the year for that. I have the chance to see how this lotion works in fairly mild weather where my skin is not at its worst so it is really hard to see the difference but I could feel one. My skin was nice and soft after using this lotion and kept my skin feeling this way for more than a day. I did not feel like I needed to use this daily to have the benefits from using the lotion. I expect that once the harsh winter weather comes in I may want to use it more often in order to have the benefits of a long lasting moisturizing lotion.

I would really like the thank BzzAgent on this one as it is a great product that I typically wouldn't buy as I like to use smelly lotions that are very girly and sometimes have glitter in them. This has so many more benefits over not being glittery or having a fragrance.

Flavorfy with DASANI DROPS Enhancing Water

The most recent product that I was sent complimentary from Influenster are Dasani Drops. These little bottles pack a huge amount of flavor to any water you want to add to it. In the Dasani Drop VoxBox was two different Dasani Drop flavors (Cherry Pomegranate and Pink Lemonade), a bottle of Dasani, 2 $1 off coupons for additional Dasani Drops, and a card about the Dasani Drops.

This voxbox was really cute design that matches that different flavors of Dasani Drops available to try.

The Dasani Drops are simple to use and you can add as much or as little of the drops as you want. The zero calories is great for anyone who is trying to watch their weight as well as having a nice refreshing beverage that is not a diet soda or plain old water.

These are similar to other products but since it is liquid you do not have to worry about any clumps of powder or anything that would be gritty in the water if it did not dissolve properly.

The Dasani Drops are small enough to carry in your purse and if you are flying they can be put into your liquids bag as they are under the 3 FL OZ size so traveling should not be a problem with these flavor enhancers.
Dasani Drops Flavor Enhancer comes in six amazing flavors: Mixed Berry, Grape, Cherry Pomegranate, Pink Lemonade, Pineapple Coconut, and Strawberry Kiwi.
You can access and check out the latest about Dasani Drops using there Facebook Page, the Twitter Page and check out the Review Page on Influenster

I will be trying the Pineapple Coconut as soon as I can find it in stores.

Substituting Filippo Berio Extra Virgin Olive Oil in recipes

Over the past couple of years I have continued to hear people talk about the health benefits to using Olive Oil over other fats like butter and margarine. I got to try out this product thanks to BzzAgent. I love getting to try out new or different items that I am not typically purchasing or thinking about purchasing. I really like the thank BzzAgent on this one as it is a great product that I typically wouldn't buy as I have other brands of oil that I choose out of habit and from cooking with family members over the years.

Filipo Berio and BzzAgent are trying to get the consumer to try thinking about the health benefits of cooking with Olive oil instead of butter and margarine. The health benefits are not typically what I think about when I am choosing various items to cook with. I am thinking all about the taste of how something is going to turn out once the dish is prepared and I am sharing it with my family and/or friends.  The taste is always important to me and if I don't notice a substitution for something lower in fat or calories, that is how it should be. If I can taste a difference then I don't necessarily want to eat or drink the items. I am not a fan of the various sugar replacements as they typically change the taste of anything that is baked or cooked using them. I have never been a huge fan of the various diet sodas that use aspartame as I can taste that and I don't like it. I would rather just drink soda water that doesn't have any of the calories or chemicals in it to begin with. So when it comes to getting to try out new products that are encouraging new uses of products that I typically use to begin with it makes me really curious to see how well they will make different recipes.

The taste is like any other good Extra Virgin Olive Oil, there is nothing over powering or anything that tastes funny. It smells just like a good extra virgin olive oil should as well so there should be no problems in trying any of the recipes they have listed on their website. I can't wait to try the Filippo Berio Olive Oil Pound Cake recipe which you can see here. All of the recipes that I have looked at look so good and really have some interesting meal options that can help anyone that needs something new to cook for dinner.

I was really impressed with the chart above that is available to print/download on Filippo Berio's site here under the substitution chart tab. This chart is an easy way to substitute butter and margarine for olive oil. It doesn't necessarily have to be Filippo Berio's oil but I would recommend trying it out for yourself as it is a really nice olive oil.  Overall, this is a great olive oil to try out.

Vintage Old Navy Tees

I love getting to try out new items and this was no exception. Crowdtap has the chance for people to apply to be Old Navy influencer. I love getting to try out different Old Navy items for free and have my mom and sister get a chance to do the same. This time it was to get to redeem a coupon in-store for two tees of your choice. My sister and I both wear the same size and liked the same style of Old Navy tees. The coupons were great to get us to pick out some new shirts. It is like all of the other Crowdtap - Old Navy Influencer coupons where you get to use one for yourself and the other one is for a friend or anyone you want to go shopping with. It's an amazing chance to have.

These tees are comfortable and fit nicely. The fit is great. I love the vintage style of shirts. These cotton tees can be found at an Old Navy or online. I love how these shirts fit and how they feel. They also come in a huge range of colors and a few patterns.  These shirts are worth checking out as they are inexpensive and come in a huge range of sizes. The petite and tall sizes need to be ordered online from my experience as I have never seen them in stores but since I wear the small regular tee, I do not have this problem. It was hard to just pick out two colors of the shirts but I settled on the navy and gray. My sister picked out the other two shirts and she loves them just as much as I do.

Old Navy tops are really worth getting over more expensive tops when I typically just wear tees under my work clothes and every day as a casual comfortable option for clothing. I love wearing tee shirts and have consistently worn various brands of tees over the years and these are as comfortable as other more expensive tees that I have.

I have to thank Crowdtap and Old Navy for the chance to try out these tees for free.

Schick Hydro Silk

I love getting to try out new products and thanks to BzzAgent I was able to try out Schick Hydro Silk razor. This is not your typical Schick razor that I think of when I hear the name. Schick always makes me think about guys razors. It was the brand that my ex used and several of his friends. I also think about the Schick Intuition, which was an okay razor but the soap around it didn't last long enough and the razor was not what I wanted in a razor. It was overall too awkward and not easy to hold while showering. I had the chance to try out the Schick Hydro Silk and I was hopeful that it would help to change my mind about the Schick razor brand. I hoped that I would take me from seeing it as my ex's razor to being a more female friendly razor that would be easy to handle.
Schick Hydro Silk
I get a little nervous trying out new razors since my skin can be quite sensitive and get irritated if I have to shave over the same spot several times to get all of the hair. This razor has 5 blades which I really like when I am trying to get a nice smooth shave and I don't have to fight to get all of the hair with multiple stokes of the razor. This really stands up to other razors with having 5 blades. It helps to keep your skin moisturized with the Water-Activated Moisturizing Serum strips on the blade. I have not see a noticeable difference in how it claims to keep your legs moist for up to 2 hours after shaving. I am happy with how it can handle wetting the razor and dry shaving my leg if I missed any spots while I was shaving. This is better then most razors that I have experienced over the years. The handle has a nice feel to it but can be a bit hard to make sure that every spot is taken care of given the handle is wider then the blades. It really does a nice job with taking care of getting a nice smooth shave. Overall, I am quite pleased with this razor and definitely recommend that if you are not happy with your current razor to give this one a try.

Check out Schick Hydro Silk at their website.

Special Edition Red Bull Blue

I was given a free Blueberry flavored Red Bull to try by the Red Bull car and the girls/guys that hand it out. I was really surprised by the taste. I typically do not like the regular Red Bull as the after taste that it has really bothers me. This did not taste like a regular Red Bull. It was really tasty and it didn't matter that it was close to 1 am. I love getting to try anything for free and this was no exception. While I am in Melbourne, I see or get very few things for free to try them out. Melbourne White Night was this past Saturday night and several of the Red Bull cars made an appearance on Flinders St. It was the best time for giving away free cans of Red Bull as Melbourne was doing an all night event. The city had various activities (art and music) going on from 7 pm to 7 am. They were giving out the Red Bull Special Editions. The other flavors are Red(Cranberry) and Silver(Lime). I have not tried these yet but if they are like the Blue one I would be impressed by how the flavor tastes and how it doesn't taste like Red Bull and has the same caffeine and sugar that are in a regular Red Bull. If I get a chance to need caffeine that is not a coffee any time soon I might look for these in a 7-11 to try out the other flavors that they offer.
