Schick Hydro Silk

I love getting to try out new products and thanks to BzzAgent I was able to try out Schick Hydro Silk razor. This is not your typical Schick razor that I think of when I hear the name. Schick always makes me think about guys razors. It was the brand that my ex used and several of his friends. I also think about the Schick Intuition, which was an okay razor but the soap around it didn't last long enough and the razor was not what I wanted in a razor. It was overall too awkward and not easy to hold while showering. I had the chance to try out the Schick Hydro Silk and I was hopeful that it would help to change my mind about the Schick razor brand. I hoped that I would take me from seeing it as my ex's razor to being a more female friendly razor that would be easy to handle.

I get a little nervous trying out new razors since my skin can be quite sensitive and get irritated if I have to shave over the same spot several times to get all of the hair. This razor has 5 blades which I really like when I am trying to get a nice smooth shave and I don't have to fight to get all of the hair with multiple stokes of the razor. This really stands up to other razors with having 5 blades. It helps to keep your skin moisturized with the Water-Activated Moisturizing Serum strips on the blade. I have not see a noticeable difference in how it claims to keep your legs moist for up to 2 hours after shaving. I am happy with how it can handle wetting the razor and dry shaving my leg if I missed any spots while I was shaving. This is better then most razors that I have experienced over the years. The handle has a nice feel to it but can be a bit hard to make sure that every spot is taken care of given the handle is wider then the blades. It really does a nice job with taking care of getting a nice smooth shave. Overall, I am quite pleased with this razor and definitely recommend that if you are not happy with your current razor to give this one a try.
