John Frieda Frizz Ease Shampoo Conditioner and Primer

In my 2015 XO VoxBox, I received John Frieda Frizz Ease Frizz Immunity Shampoo, Conditioner, and Primer. These three products work together to help control your hair from being frizzy and untamable.

I have used John Frieda Frizz Ease Primer before so I knew that when my hair is really uncontrollable that it would help. I have so far had a positive experience with this item. This was the first time that I was using John Frieda Frizz Ease Immunity Shampoo and Conditioner. Overall, the shampoo and conditioner worked well for cleaning my hair like any shampoo and conditioner, but I did find this product to dry out my hair which I am not used to with conditioner as I use a deep conditioner about once a week. I was pleased with the smell of both of these products as it was not over powering. It was interesting being able to try a shampoo an conditioner with the primer. My experience with these the three products was very positive. These products will not become my daily shampoo and conditioner but I will use them once in a while when I need to tame my hair.

Overall these products, were worth trying out as my hair tends to be slightly wavy and frizzy in high humidity.  if you suffer from the very frizzy hair, I suggest giving these products to try.  I could not use these products daily as my thick hair needs consistent conditioning but, they would be used once in a while when I am trying to prevent in my hair being very frizzy.

I received these products complementary from Influenster for testing purposes.

Skinfix Hand Repair Cream

Skinfix Hand Repair Cream was one of the times that the more time testing the product the better the results. I was pleased to receive the hand cream as a free product to try out in the XO VoxBox from Influenster.

Skinfix Hand Repair Cream claims to be an unscented cream that will help with damaged cracked hands and eczema which sometimes I am very skeptical of these kinds of claims as lotion is  meant to be moisturizing and healing. This lotion states to be free of steroids, fragrance, soy, parabens and phthalates and I am unsure of how I feel about the claim of free of steroids. Lotions should not have to claim this as most lotions do not have steroids. I am assuming this claim has something to do with how eczema lotions may have steroids in them to help heal badly damaged skin.

I deal with dry skin on my hands every winter, I wish I could test the eczema claim. Lucky, I do not suffer from eczema but I do get very dry knees and elbows during the winter and overall this lotion did a pretty good job but it was not a one time use and everything was fantastic and good as new but over several days of use you can really feel the difference. I love that it is unscented as I hate most lotions that are overly scented or smell very chemical or medicinal will give me a headache and I am unable to use them.

Skinfix Hand Repair Cream was great to use before getting to go on vacation and get back into the sun. I loved not having dry skin while in a much more tropical location and looking like my skin was not ready for the sun. I was very happy with trying this out and it was great travel size to take along in my bag. This is definitely a product to try out if you are unhappy with your current lotion and suffer from extremely dry skin. A little goes a long way.

The biggest thing to watch out for is this lotion is a bit on the pricey side for such a small tube but if it really helps with eczema the way it claims the price could be worth it.

2015 XO VoxBox

I received the 2015 XO Vox Box from Influenster with a new group of products to test and get to experience. I was really excited toget a chance to this group of items. This box was a nice variety of products. I get to test out these products thanks to Influenster.

Opening XO VoxBox
These products were sent around Valentine's Day and the overall theme of the box is about looking your best. I really appreciated the idea of having you looking your best for a sample box as these items really try to make sure that you can fix yourself up and even spoil yourself a little with the free subscription box to Adore Me. I wish it wasn't such a struggle for me to purchase clothing without being able to try it on first. The only time I can purchase items is if I have already purchased something in that same style and the exact same size.I am very particular with how clothes fit as I am quite short with an average size torso so I struggle with both regular and petites sizes.

I will be doing a further blog review on each of these products that I used and sampled with this box of goodies, as each product has its pros and cons to discuss.

I did not redeem the Adore Me or Land's End as I did not find any products from either site that I was interested in purchasing without being able to try on the products and make sure that it was worth going through the hassle if they did not fit properly.

I did enjoy looking over all of the lingerie, sleepwear and swimwear that Adore Me sell in their subscription boxes. If there was a store that carried some of there products to try on first I would definitely have tried this out as I hate the hassle of returning items by mail and it makes me a little nervous as the potential for receive underwear or a bathing suit bottoms that may have been used/tried on by someone else if they returned the item.

Over the years, Land's End has always been hit or miss if I like the products they are currently selling. I do enjoy the fact that Sears does carry some of the items and that you can make returns in store. I just did not find a purchase that would make the coupon of $25 off $100 worth it. Maybe if the coupon code was a different value that I could have made a smaller purchase, I might have reconsidered.
